My love for nature and wildlife, coupled with my enjoyment of interacting with people, has been the driving force for me to start tour guiding.  After spending many years working in a factory environment, I decided to follow my passion and completed a comprehensive one year part-time course in nature and environment, and have qualified as a South African Tourist Guide in Nature, specialising in Pilanesberg Game Reserve and surrounds as well as the Kruger National Park.  My family and I have spent many weekends in Pilanesberg, over a period of about 30 years, and I never tire of it. 

 

Tours of up to 3 people are done in the comfort of an airconditioned 4 x 4 Kia Sportage.  Larger groups upto and including 7 will be accommodated in an airconditioned Hyundai H 1 and transport for greater numbers can be arranged.  All tours are done personally with the added personal touches.

 

A one day trip to Pilanesberg is a wonderful experience if you have a limited time in Johannesburg.  However, should you have a little more time, a one or two night stay at Pilanesberg is a great experience and gives more time for relaxation.

 

Should you have 4 or 5 days i.e. 3 or 4 nights, a trip to the Kruger National park is great.  One of Africa's largest game reserves with a good concentration of wild animals.
